Solo smilers

Whenever I see someone walking towards me, alone, who happens to have a smile on their face--and they aren't talking on the phone or anything--I get suspicious for reasons I don't understand. I also get paranoid that they're laughing at me.

Its because they are secretly laughing at you of course. Everything evolves around you, haven't you heard? Nothing in that strangers life could possibly make them smile more then the chance to meet you, as you are the most important thing in the universe obviously. Thats not paranoia, thats real?!

Whenever I see someone walking towards me, alone, who happens to have a smile on their face-----and they aren't talking on the phone or anything---I think to myself how wonderful it is that real human beings still exist in this world. Nothing I hate more than people staring at their technology as though they're no longer living on Earth but planet Facebook.

Humans are funny.

For example: https://xkcd.com/291/

I can neither confirm nor deny that I may have been laughing specifically at you. Quite likely I was at some point. I am frequently amused by people, especially myself.

Hope you find all that reassuring. It's not paranoia if someone actually IS laughing at you.

Words from a Solo Smiler

I smile at random people all the time. I had no idea that doing that activated some people's "Spidey -Senses". ... (: You know the reason I do it is to generate "good vibes" in hopes that that person may pass it on to the next. I also find people are more likely to respond to your random "Hi" if you greet them with that initial smile...(: (: (: I am sorry and had no idea that this action had a negative side to it. I also feel " one act of random kindness a day can 365 lives a year".
So, I am not apt to change my outlook about smiling at random people...but maybe now you can change yours...(: (: (:

I do it all the time

Well, maybe not smile AT a person, but I intentionally smile a little bit when I'm out in public since I have quite the case of resting bitch face. In a 'cold' city I figure that I might as well not look like I'll hiss at you if you come near me.
