OP wants all to know that this was most definitely not some bs confession posted by GeekNomad. I am a female from the States that was lucky enough to have lived in BC for a while. Anyway, it's too bad you don't what he adds to this sphere. Of course, perhaps I appreciate his perspective because I have always been a "weirdy." I was raised to be the square peg & not conform so I don't trust most people's judgement. Keep it up GN. Ignore the haters!

Writing style is as distinctive as a fingerprint, so if you can't tell the diff by now, you're not really paying attention, just hating for the sake of it. This is not unusual here, but still, do try a little harder. Lazy hatred is contemptible.

Odds are, if MN hasn't driven me away, I'll probably stay for a while yet. Pretty sure I'm not her favorite person (comment threads do not lock and disable themselves).

A designer friend has a sign on his wall: "It's ok if not everybody gets it." If my content offended no one, it would not be worth writing.

I love how the guy even tries to write differently, going so far as to point out 'her' own spelling mistakes.... then returns as geeknomad and points out the different writing styles. Friend, just let it go.
