F_cking Stole It, man

There was this sandwich in the work fridge. It was there all Friday, the weekend, and on the Monday I just took it. It was purchased from a store and it was in a container.
And to throw off suspicion, I threw out every other expired food in the fridge as well to make it look like the managerial staff cleaned out the fridge.
Am I a monster?

Is this a 'thumbs up' for being a monster (more like a douche) or a 'thumbs down' for stealing something that didn't belong to you?
Brilliant...

You did well. I would have returned the empty container to the fridge on Tuesday.
Not at all

Anything without a name on it that is near its expiry date is fair game. I used to do this, too. We are such a wealthy and wasteful society that people buy food and then forget to eat it!

You're not a monster - monsters pray on children or steal life savings from the elderly - you're just an idiot.
You scout out some crummy sandwich and eye it for a few days, then pounce when you think enough time has passed!? Man, how cheap are you? A fresh one down on the corner costs $4.99! and it's FRESH! And you can have it NOW! Holy Fuck - then you go so far as to put it the effort to make it look as though it was simply thrown away with all the other 'dated' foods in the fridge by throwing it ALL away...
what ---- an ---- idiot!
You knew full well it was a dick move, that's why you went to the trouble of waiting 3 days, then scrambled to throw everything else out so that its disappearance looked legit and it covered your pathetic tracks...
How can you possibly NOT be the same guy that takes credit for other peoples work, steals small change whenever the chance arises, sneaks away early from work whenever you can, rushes past others to get the best seat, you're that guy who 'forgets' his wallet when taking a woman out on a date! Congratulations - you are the real George Costanza!!!

You take risks my friend. That sandwich was either extremely soggy or dried out by that point. But I guess if you were desperate it was fair game. You even cleaned the fridge out as a bonus.

It was an old sandwich, probably destined for the trash. I say you saved a bit of landfill by eating it.
But going forward, please don't be that person who steals other people's food at work on a regular basis.
nope
