Look, people...

Do you ever feel like you are oblivious to something much bigger than this reality? Almost like everybody is in on it and you are the oblivious and also the most aware one. People going on about their day as you contemplate how can even something so mundane exist? With normal people and their normal structures overpowering anything magical. I walked all over the city today and all I saw were little humans buzzing around. Gathering together with their human friends over barbeque at parks, beaches and completely shut off from beyond their comfort circle. Different areas, different people but the same level of closed energy. Where did the adventurer go? The explorer with open arms? Where is the vandal? Where's the late night swimmer? Where's that beautiful woman dancing to the music in her head, floating into and around the air? Now, now, I'm aware that if I look, I'll find it. I'll see it. I try to attract it and I will get it. Today's population just felt sick and toxic.

Here is the thing.
Everyone. EVERYONE views the world as a single individual. Do you know what that means?
It means when we gaze into the world and we have this tendency to group and characterize this masses of people we observe as a group, as a 'population.'
We see rich kids driving their nice cars and we begin to think "why is everyone so lucky but me" We see people with their girlfriends/boyfriends and think " O , everyone has someone but me".

There are open people. There are people abroad travelling. There are people enjoying time with their families. There are people like you. There are people who go late night swimming -- ive done it. That means someone else is doing it.

Your post reaks of self-importance / special snow-flake syndrome.
Whats wrong with having a comfort circle? What a stupid post

The only magic there is is the magic you imagine. And nothing stops you from imagining it. Go ahead: let's imagine happy leprechauns or giant trees saying "Hoom hoom." It's fun. They don't cut the grass for you. Or get your groceries. Did you notice that? They also won't really brighten your day very much.

All we have is each other. That's not sad. That's great because we can give each other hope. All any of us needs is a couple of friends and family to stick up for us and cheer us on.

Smile at someone.

Looking in the wrong place

Your first mistake was looking in the city. The wanderers and adventurers are not there. They are out spending time with people and nature and real life. I spent all day at a lake today and it was beautiful. Not a phone in sight, people talking to their beach neighbours, swimming and laughing and being free.
