I know someone who'd be happy to be your everything... a dog. There wouldn't be that saying "dog-like devotion" if it wasn't true. True love (between humans) is a partnership of equals.

See, this is the problem with chick flicks and their ridiculous fantasies about what a relationship should be.
As a women, nothing makes me cringe more than these daft films that dictate impossible standards for men, make us feel inadequate and cry if we are not in a relationship and confuse our reality with an unattainable fantasy of what a relationship should be.
I want to see a chick flick where a woman is happy to be single because it's actually normal. Or is with a man because they're friends, not because he jumps through a million hopes to prove he's worth her attention.
Stupid films.

Why do you keep posting this sentiment? Surely you realize that absolutely no one loves anyone unconditionally? I reckon you don't even love yourself unconditionally? Evolve a little; seek a higher path.
