Woman's FIFA - Full of Tears

Ill admit I'm much more interested in woman's FIFA then I thought I would be. There has been displays of some serious talent. One thing I just don't understand is why the players cry so much. From injuries, to mistakes or poor game play the amount of crying that happens during and after the game is well.... amazing. Why?

Are you kidding? Have you seen the men play?! Every 2 minutes someone is on the ground, writhing in pain for 10 minutes. The women overall have a much higher degree of sportsmanship and ability to "play through pain" than many of those world class athelete/millionaires on the men's side.

Really I think they are remarkably restrained compared to their male counterparts in the English Premiership. Now there really is some histrionics.

It surely has nothing to do with biology because various critical theory articles demonstrate that gender is merely a social construction.

With the statement by because they care. Im sure it all comes down to the individual as well.
I play a womens contact sport and most of the time when I see a teammate almost about to burst into tears is because they are too hard on themselves but that's because they are incredibly passionate about the game.

It's called acting...

It's just not enough anymore to say, 'darn, I missed that game winning shot'. Everything has to escalate. Wages go up, poverty goes up and so do player reactions in todays sport. Can you imagine, if a player on team Canada missed a potential goal again England, and then, just shrugged her shoulders and laughed out loud? That can't be done, it's not dramatic enough.
