I Wish

I started dating this great guy but he's so busy. He works full time and goes to school at night which leaves very little us time. I would like for us to get away for a weekend but its impossible.
We're in a relationship but its like we're not.
I wish things were easier.

I bet he wishes things were easier, too. He sounds wonderful. When he comes home after a long day, make him feel appreciated.

Perhaps be thankful that you are dating such a motivated guy who obviously has plans for his future.

It will get better, takes time of course, but til it gets better,til you have time for you both like "Count your blessings" said. make him feel appreciated, Do something special for him somehow. You come up with it. it'll be more special. Good luck, and hope it all gets better soon! :)

Maybe it won't get better. I was with an ambitious workaholic for many, many years just waiting for this one last goal/project/milestone to be complete, but that time never came. There was always something. I ended up feeling quite neglected and foolish.
