Lost Cat

The thing that I find ridiculous about missing pet posters is that the first piece of information is always the cat's name. I have cats and they sure as hell don't know their own names, only who has the best treats and luvs.

My cat responds to her name.
And she has her name on her collar, so if someone finds her, I would hope that they put two and two together.

The more identification the better.

If the lost cat has an ear tattoo, her name would usually be registered as well, further identifying the animal.

Hate to be a downer about missing pets... but it seems to me that unilingual posters kind of miss the point. Maybe they should be written in Coyote as well as English?

Cats can often respond to their names. Every cat I've owned did. Plus, like the poster above said, the more identifying info, the better. Not sure why you have such a problem with this...
