geekage much

To kill time, I pluck away at eye-bleedingly difficult grammar/literature university exit and entrance exams in my second language for native speakers of that language training to become teachers, editors, and scholars. This is what happens when you have no social life beyond work, and no love life beyond whatever point in the past my head is stuck in over some girl I don't wanna let go of. On the bright side, I've acquired some rather peculiar expertise that is about as useful in Canada as blow-drying your hair in a steam room.

Unless you're planning a side business or contract gig in translation, switch to something useful, like Mandarin or French (besides Canada, useful in Francophone Africa, so there's that).

If you're going to wibble like this, at least it will serve some practical purpose.
