Karma

I no longer believe in it. Those in corporations who make decisions that cost workers their health to make profit don't get their Karma, instead they get Mexican vacations, sip coronas and talk at large about their million dollar deals and give a token Christmas party instead of a bonus at the end of the year to feed the ego even more while the workers get sick go on welfare and get judged for not being a productive member of society.

good, because karma doesn't exist. privilege does though, and sadly those with money will always rule and behave this way because they have never known what it's like to lack the privilege (or some how had the amazing sad ability to forget, though bets are on the first if they're acting this way).

At last

you're catching on. God loves people who exploit and make war on their fellow human beings. If He didn't, he wouldn't CONSTANTLY reward them. You will not be rewarded in this life or any other for being kind. However, I hope you will be kind anyway. Just to piss God off. It's all we've got.

I think people like to think about karma because it makes them feel better for a bit when something shitty happens to them. Same way religion brings comfort to some people but I don't see it as existing. Bad things happen, good things happen...it's random & it's just things happening.

Oh, but you too entertain a bit of fanciful thinking: that people feel or act on empathy for others when they've shared their experiences. Sadly, this too is not true. The real "good people," those who really act for the benefit of all, are few and far between. I think that's why such figures are held up as so amazing when they do appear, and why we nominate so many unworthy ones. We want them, we intrinsically know that it would be good to have more of them, but we slog on in selfish mediocrity, deluding ourselves that our small acts matter. We not only don't have enough empathy, but empathy alone is not enough.

It does exist

just need to be very patient. It doesn't often manifest they way we think or want it. But the nature has its own ways to retribute. That's more applicable for individual cases though. However for an entity like corporations youdon't have to wait for the Universe to do the justice. Organize a community group and expose the problems that you had to endure. Knowledge is power, shared knowledge is multiple times the power people you shared it with. It's hard and takes a lot of time and energy, but may be its the action you need to start believing again.
