I seek adventure but I am not an explorer.
I take a picture but I am not a photographer.
I color in the lines but I am not an artist.
I offer instructions but I am not a teacher.
I run around but I'm not an athlete.
I sing along but I have no voice.
I work, but I have no profession.
I've been with someone, but I don't know love.
I have everywhere to go, but no direction.

Labels are for clothes and other inanimate objects.
Find your own way and make your own meaning. Visions defined by others come with built-in limits. The only time you're doing it wrong is when you're comfortable and want to change nothing.
That way lies obsolescence and death.

This feels like poetry. As such, I'm not sure what to say, but couldn't resist commenting. Great job if I'm correct. If not, well, I hope you can figure out how to achieve all that you want by figuring out what you do have.

I'm really not a fan of the poetry posts in "Confessions". In my opinion, it's the kind of thing that belongs on someone's personal blog.
