Daddy Issues

I want a man to take care of me. I know it sounds "anti-feminist" but it's true. And I don't mean just financially (I have a career that pays well and easily supports me, although I would love to combine this with someone else for an enhanced, shared life). Mostly what I want is a man who cherishes me, holds me, protects me and looks out for me physically and emotionally. Someone I can fall into at the end of the day and feel safe and comforted. Which apparently means I have daddy issues.

That's exactly what I want. Why should someone else define what's right for you?

Isn't this what anyone wants who
Is seeking a deep and lasting relationship? I think it's unrelated to feminism or daddy issues.

He takes care of you and you take care of him. What the hell else is it all about? No daddy issues, you're just being human in a traditional sense. Glad to see not all you girls are falling for the brainwashing that you don't need a man to take care of you. It's not about need - we all WANT someone to come home to, to care for and to consider...and dare I say, to love. It makes it all the worthwhile when you got yourself a rock to lean on.
Daddy issues? Anti-Feminist?

These stereotypes are frightening in the year 2015. Any man or woman wants to have a nurturing partner. Stating that you do is incorrect or improper for a woman????
You are not saying you want to be a toy and slave to a partner with no mind or abilities of your own.

Hmmm...it seems that a lot of Women in Van are looking for Daddies. Then...quite a few of the guys are too. I don't know what to think. I've been looking for an egalitarian partner of the opposite gender for decades....that keeps crashing and burning. I guess the dream of equality went up in vapour with the end of the sixties/seventies.....now the majority are in search of procurement and personal sponsorship. Never enough Sugar-Daddies to go around.
