Across the street there is a new big fancy sign: "Live at [Insert Corporation]- 2&3 Bedroom Greenhomes in the heart of [Insert Neighbourhood here]. 3rd time on my street, just like in monopoly they knock down 3 houses and put up the condo. Goodbye to parking and sleep for another 9 months of construction crews outside my doorstep. Again.

Constantly, like an IV drip? God, if only we lived in a free society where I could go to an internet cafe and get a steady morphine drip. Maybe some saline/dextrose, too, for energy.

The point is that Canada somehow had basically enough housing in the early late 80s/early 90s, and it is only after we ramped up immigration that suddenly we have such a short supply.
