People who use others as audiences

I think they should be forced to listen to their own mouth non-stop for 24 hours - they can drive themselves crazy while never asking questions about another person - which is how they like it anyways. With folks like this how CAN anyone else exist when they Refuse to Listen or ask details of even their own kids life.

I timed my mom's monolog this one time. She was able to talk by herself for about 40minutes without needing a response from my side. I forgot the exact time by now, but it was around 40 minutes. Some people love the sound of their own voice. But my mom, she said that she doesn't feel heard, so she repeats stuff over and over again. That really made me sad.

Gotta colleague like this. Does tons of blow and jabbers away for 12 hrs.

On the plus side normal people with decent conversation seem exceptionally rad

I'm someone who makes conversation by asking questions (I talk about myself a bit too), but unfortunately some people don't seem to understand that that's how I'm trying to make conversation with them (rather than being a a self-centered monologist) and feel like they're being cross-examined.
