Post secondary story

I barely got out of high school. I knew right away I wasn't going to college (much to the dismay of everyone I knew). I worked random entry level jobs. I moved around. I experienced poverty, I experienced choicelesness, I experienced many many things I didn't like. I moved across the country on a whim with a backpack. I bummed around. For a long time I felt like I never been much more than just a bum Last night I got off work and realised I have a promising career. 5 years have slipped by and I've somehow emerged from a chrysalis as an adult of sorts. I still haven't been to school. My point is that sometimes life needs to happe. To you and its hard to figure out how to catalyse this; school is expensive and pointless, stagnation is easy if you sleep too long in your youth. Anyway good luck. There are more roads than one.

school is pointless???
As you mentioned, there are more roads than one. Don't belittle those who chose differently than you.

So close

Yeah, you were so close to making an excellent point, and then *boom*, that snipe about school being expensive and pointless. I gather you feel judged for not going to school, which sucks if true, but like you said, there are more roads than one.

I did go to school

Op, you dont get to make a statement on a subject you know nothing of. You wouldn't know if the school is pointless because you didn't go to one.

But I will back you up, despite your "talking out of you ass"Ness. I did go to one. It was brutal and expensive. I got a piece of paper to prove my education and commitment. I think of it as the an expensive receipt. But I did find myself and got great friends out of the experience. You hadon't your way to experience, I did mine.

You don't like people judging you for not going to one, so don't judge the people who did go.
