A world without these would be a utopia for me imagine being able to have a quiet bus ride while able to breathe.

I am allergic to synthetic scents and the thought of getting on public transit causes me anxiety. I can be out for days with just one whiff of someone's Ocean Spring Mountain Mist laundry detergent. Ugh.
Most people don't understand that this is a real. I deal with it by riding my bike everywhere and I have a Respro allergy mask I use whenever I go to movies, plays, etc. I used to feel self-conscious about the mask but got over it quickly enough. If anything, whenever I'm wearing it it's a great opportunity to have a discussion about synthetic allergies with the curious person beside me. Or sometimes I just pretend I'm Darth Vader. Win-win really.

Perfume is the killer for me. Why women think this sh!t makes them more attractive is anyone's guess. Lotions are deadly too! LESS is BEST!!!
agree about cel, disagree about scents

Why women thinks it makes us more attractive -because guys who use cologne (as well as daily showering of course) are more attractive to us.
Same as people wanting variety in food, we want variety in scents.
sorry

Men also wear scents. And it's more than just perfume and/or cologne. It's all those scents we layer on as we bath, style our hair, launder our clothes, etc.
