Hard to get our "there".

My father was the type of men women would fall for. Until it's the 3rd or 4th month being with him. He would be brutal towards her and things you can't imagine. Now it's hard for me to say this because it might be stupid. But I'm afraid to go out there and date. There are times where I would wanna experience things. But I cant, because of the things I know and the stories.

Sorry you had to experience such awful things so young. It is not fair. However, there are good men out there. I know many of them. You deserve the best in this world. Do not be afraid. Practice earned trust. We all fall and get hurt when it comes to love. But when it comes to being it love and loved back properly....it is not worth missing.

I have seen so much ugliness growing up that I'm always on guard for signs of trouble when I meet somebody new.
