uhh not sure what negative hole the above commenters crawled out of, but I think the OP was trying to get at the self-entitlement some men seem to feel of getting dates and women liking them. Personally I'm glad to see other people recognizing it- these days I'm meeting more and more men who seem to have deep-seated resentment towards women and feeling like they've been wronged when a woman just isn't interested in them. Geez guys, just because you like someone or you went on a date with them or even bought them a dinner it doesn't mean they owe you feelings in return! If the feelings are there then they're there, if they're not then they're not- a woman (or a man for that matter) has every right to not be interested in you after they've given getting to know you a shot, you don't "deserve" anything. Totally agree with you OP, thanks for voicing it.
