Where are you?

Where is a good place to meet single men in their 50's and 60's? I am an attractive woman in her 50's, not into bars or online dating sites and I find people going to the variety of meetups.com are mostly women. I see lots of interesting men at the hardware stores on weekends but all are wearing wedding rings (not into that). Any older guys reading the GS confessions that might have some ideas?

My mom rounded up her girlfriends and went to singles' dances. They seem to happen on a regular basis and rotate where they take place. Lots of men aged 50-75 there. Mind you I have a very extroverted mother.
If you're more introverted, perhaps you could look at volunteering somewhere that has an equal number of male volunteers to female?

2 good suggestions. I am quite extroverted but have no girlfriends to round up to go with as they are all married. Not sure about going out too late at night on my own. Also, I'm quite healthy but not athletic so joining sports groups or gym is not an option.

I'm an older guy. If you golf, you could try a driving range in your area. Maybe go to the movies a little more often with a girlfriend. Spring is coming soon, which means going for walks will be more comfortable for all of us.

Car shows, like a neighborhood "show @ shine", lot's of middle aged men spend time doing that sort of thing.

Live to learn

I take classes, which has 2 benefits.
1/ I get to learn about things that interest me or i have a passion for
2/ I get to meet very nice and interesting new people at every class, and sometimes they're attractive and single!

So because i have a real interest in the class topic (sailing, writing, drawing, tennis, cooking... whatever) it's very interesting and never a lost cause. And if there's someone who catches my eye (and there often is), then double the fun.

Good luck

I went to one of their events tonight at the Hard Rock Casino and there were a ton of single 50+ men. They all seemed to have a great time. WWW.planetluv.CA. good luck!

Even if your friends are married, you could invite them on a girls' night out or just invite their spouses along for social dance so that you won't be alone. Then you'll be free to meet other single men and have people to take you home.
