Just Like Monopoly

I wrote previously about knocking 3 houses down on my street and putting up a "hotel". Now there are 3 more properties on the same block with the big signs posted in front. There will only be 2 houses left here by next year. Where are we going to live? I can't afford a mortgage and don't think that having strata rules is "ownership".

The OP hit the nail on the head. When you live in a condo or townhouse, you do not own your home. The strata owns your home and it's always the same nimrods going on power trips: bored housewives, or retired old fogies with too much time on their hands who expect you to be as miserable as they are. No thanks, I'll take real home ownership any day over nazi-esque strata living.
