puttullo conspiracy!

the real reason the bridge is getting shut down for such a long time and in such a user unfriendly way is to punish the BC public for not paying up and using the upgraded port man... this work will force the wage slaves to buy their pass and save a few dollars... and teach them to use what the boss says they must use!

That's right...

It has nothing to do with the fact that the bridge is 80 years old and falling apart.

is a wonderful place to live, and it's even better with the Pattullo Bridge closed. It's amazing to me how much commuter traffic and how many trucks funnel through this city every day, and the level of noise that the people who live here put up with. I'll enjoy every hour of quiet while the bridge is closed, relish being a pedestrian and not having to watch every second for speeding cars and distracted drivers, and sleep well without the constant sound of air brakes, screeching tires and racing engines all night.

I'm sorry if you feel you have to live in Langley and work in Vancouver, but deal with it. The cities in between aren't here just to provide you with a convenient commuter route. Instead, feel free to use all that new asphalt and cement on the newly expanded freeway that those of us who arrange our lives to live close to work don't need, but still pay for.....

I live in van and work in Surrey. You think you have commuter traffic problems? You don't even know how good you have it.

No. It isn't punishment for not using the portman bridge, it's because you all voted NO to the transit referendum so insted of a new bridge they have to close this one down to repair it seeing as it's 80 years old like someone already said.
