You have balls. I HATE what technology has done with the world. Well...It's a love hate relationship. I would do what you have done but since we are in this tech world I need some tech to use to benefit myself out there. I'm talking about checking bus schedules on the fly, menu's while I'm searching for a place to eat or sending pictures/videos MMS to friends and family while not on Wifi. Back in the 90's I'd have no problem doing this....but not today, unfortunately. Good luck with no mobile data. Maybe one day I will convince myself to do the same.
Little story. Every morning at a Skytrain station I wait for a bus to pick me up with the others waiting and there is just one person in particular that I've noticed that is just ADDICTED to her phone. She's always got her head bent down and phone lifted up 6" away from her face with her headphones on. She only breaks contact with her phone when the bus is driving in to the bay to let us board or when she has to get off the bus. As soon as she gets off the bus she buries her head in her phone again while she walks to the crosswalk. This is bad...real bad. I can't say I've seen her face out of her phone for more than 40 seconds. Cellphones are worse than cigarettes - And I'm a smoker.
