Wish upon a star

I wish that my neighbor, who judges based upon what is heard behind closed doors, would fuck themselves or fuck off cause we're not friends or in any type of relationship where I should be forced to hear verbal abuse based on the judgements from a person who never talks with me; I feel that folks who want, and seem to need to judge, can take the time to go to law school, work their way up and become an official Judge. But that takes work. Gossip and assumption is easy.

I've lived beside a bullying, abusive neighbour for 7 years now and not even having a safe space to retreat to in your own home is quite honestly the most soul crushing experience I have ever encountered. I'm sorry for your predicament, I hope you find some resolution.

This is the best advice:

Forget about your neighbours. Whenever they talk to you, ignore them.

When they try to talk to you, it just ends up with finding out about their neurosis. Not worth the energy.

I'm not talking about some idyllic place. This is urban jungle survival, lol.

Does neighbour give you much thought? If they have not said anything to you, or done anything ; what exactly?

Well, what is it that you're doing? I don't talk to my neighbour, but I've complained to strata because of her smoking on the patio (there is a no smoking bylaw on the property) and I think she overheard my phone conversation the time I tols my mother how her tv was literally on ALL night (thus robing me of sleep).
At any rate, take a look at yourself. Maybe you're a discourteous neighbour.

Try not to be so judgemental about your neighbor. I'm sure you're not perfect are you??

Did your neighbour possibly hear something that concerned him /her? Such as a loud fight or crying or something like that? Sometimes what seems like judgement might actually be caring. Just a thought.
