Metal Gear Solid 4 - PS3

Well, it took me 8 years but I finally finished MGS4! It took 35hrs of playtime and you can knock off 7-8hrs for cinematics. The end movie is literally about 2h 15min long and it ties the whole story together for the last 20yrs or so. WHAT A GAME! HOLY SHIT! I love MGS!

Seriously? Were you playing at the highest difficulty level or something? Took me maybe a month tops. Too bad MGS5 turned out to be such an incredibly overrated, boring disappointment...

Yes, 8yrs. Normal difficulty. When I bought my $700 PS3 FAT back in 07 I played it hard and heavy for a while but then grew away from it. I stopped playing games and barely used the expensive machine. The last few years I started to play again but only for maybe an hour at a time and then months later I play again. That's why it took me 8 years. In the last couple years my PS3 has had some overheating issues as the fan sounds like a jet taking off and I was too lazy to open it up and fix it until a couple weeks ago. I applied new thermal paste and it now runs quiet like I just bought it new. Never YLoD and I hope I never get it...knock on wood.
