Rejection

Since only one thired of people qualify for EI despite all people paying into it, perhaps the politicians need one third the amout of money they are recieving in compensation for what they do, this seems fair to me.

How do you figure "only one third of people qualify for EI" ?

I do not qualify

I don't qualify because I quit to go back to school, and now I cannot find a job with my new degree.

This system is terrible. This is the one time I need EI after paying into it for the last 15 years.

Who gets it? Seasonal unionized workers. They love claiming EI after summer. Weak f*en sauce.

..scandal what they've done to EI! Bad enough that the job market is full of shit jobs, but then the insurance plan doesn't cover you. Needs to be fixed Mr. Smiley Pants!

Just sayin'

I knew my eligibility was questionable so I applied for an exemption and now I don’t have to contribute to EI. Might as well pocket the money if your status is in question.

Yep. Disabled people who can only work part time pay in, but never qualify. Hardly fair.
