Alienism Vancouver Summer Impressions

The sidewalk does not belong to you and your private club, and if you are looking at your device its not everyone's job to accommodate your lack of presence. Dog shit, and its everywhere, is not something anyone wants to step in on a sidewalk or park. If someone is polite or initiates a conversation in the public try not to assume they are mental though they may be. Renters of Vancouver and those with no housing I feel for you this city is no fun for the wage slave. Just because you have a voice does not mean we all want to hear your private phone conversation on a bus. The summer is over and the rain has arrived I hope it never ends.

sidewalks and pedestrians

Aug 31, 2016 at 8:45pm

Went shoulder to shoulder with some twit walking in the opposite direction under a construction shelter that makes the sidewalk barely wide enough for two people side by side because he didn't fully tuck in behind his friend who he was talking to. Seriously, what was he expecting? That I would turn sideways to accommodate him?

Had a pedestrian start across a crosswalk in front of me before the light turned green or the walk light came on while I was trying to make a right, then gives me a dirty look.

A lot of Vancouver pedestrians are self-involved, clueless nitwits who have zero awareness of the world around them, or are just too selfish to care.
