What's to like?

There's a video going around on facebook about this guy telling his wife about the laundry basket that his clothes disappear out of, and my female friends are liking and sharing it like crazy, like it's SO FUNNY that she does his laundry for him and he doesn't notice. It feels like everyone's like, "Ha ha, that's so funny because it's true!". And I'm like, am I the only person on earth who, from the get go, pretty much said "no, dude I'm not doing your laundry if you won't do mine", pull your own weight. I'm sure he would love me to do his laundry, but I'm not his slave. We're grown adults, and have enough clothes for our own loads. Sadly, I feel like if I left that comment instead of "lol #ifeelyou" I will be the only one and that's messed up, yo.

I thought that it meant that he was doing the laundry etc...and that the girlfriend didn't notice.

It's a bullshit video. Who the F doesn't do their own laundry? Sharing it is just a good way to alienate every male in your life that does his own chores, and convince him you're a chauvinist asshole.

I don't see the humour. Forget about gender roles, what's wrong with one partner (whether the man or woman) being more domestic?

Your comment "I'm sure he would love me to do his laundry, but I'm not his slave" is ridiculous - what a thing to say!

PC gender role BS

that the video is a parody of Aussie men. That is why it's funny. It's more about the obliviousness and entitlement of Australian men, not about the women. That's my opinion anyway and I'm a woman.
