I was dating this really amazing girl for a few months and she told me she was going to enter the porn industry. I tried to convince her not to but she didn't listen to me. So I broke up with her. My friends are thinking I am crazy because I would get mad props from everyone for dating a Pornstar. I just would be really uncomfortable having a girlfriend who sleeps with other guys for money. A woman can do whatever she wants. I am just not comfortable with this as a guy It would be really embarrassing at family get together. She got really mad at me and basically called me a hypocrite because I watch pornography on occasion. I feel really bad but I just can't date someone in that industry.

"Pornstar" is just a glamorous name for a prostitute,just like "escort".

I would have dumped the skank too. She will be at high risk for STI/STD's. I know someone who wanted to do porn and after meeting Ron Jeremy she changed her life path away from it. Two other girls from my high school have also done porn but I'm not 100% on how far they went. The pictures I saw were only solo but there may be pics/vids I've never seen. Anyway, find a new lady.

I had a chance to date a porn 'actor' too and I couldn't do it. It's his career choice which is fine. I'm just not ok with the industry and didn't want any links to it.
No regrets for not pursuing that one.

If he is not into dating a porn star, then that is just that. He doesn't have to and she can find someone who is comfortable with her job, perhaps.
However, it irks me how lots of men look down on women in the sex industry (porn stars, strippers...) because hey, lots of them feed to industry by using porn and whatnot...yet they turn around and give the women shit for being "skanks." Hm well if you don't respect them, then maybe keep your dong in your pants and not rub one out to them.
