I think one of the saddest things I have come across is lost years. Lost crushes, years of unspoken (shared) pains, and years of denial. Lies spinning into something else and unrealized dreams filled with blocks and veers away. Years of not being there for lack of knowledge or not looking. Missed opportunities and missed messages. Years of justification. You get the point. It makes me sad and feels difficult to process.
