I'm sure I'm misreading you...

I've been talking to you for about a year and a half now. The more I get to know you through our short tidbits of conversation the more I want to hang out. Sometimes I think you feel the same, but I'm pretty sure I'm just deluding myself.

Keep thinking/acting that way, and it will become true soon enough, even if the person is interested right now.
It's how I do if someone is not brave enough to ask and too much time has passed. Timid is such a turnoff, even in just a friend.
A year is a long while. Push it or lose it.

I think my main life regrets stem from lack of confidence and not asking questions.

Yes, I probably should act on it. But as I deal with this person at their place of work there's some challenges in asking the question. Especially since I'm over 15 years older than him. (not sure how younger guys feel being approached by older women)

.... and I do not have a husband (well I did but that's ancient history)

I am hoping one day I find the nerve/opportunity. Really hoping for some kind of sign as I do not want to step out of line and risk loosing the rapport we do have ...

Thanks for your comments

you are very intrigued by this person but do not want to forfeit your current situation for the unknown. This is a tough position for anyone to be in, and will drive you mad if it is not somehow resolved. The decision to broach to subject with one or both of these individuals is totally yours to make, just be prepared for the fallout.

Word here, than later, words I can hardly understand, I can recognize your voice, your style, short phrases. Then, sometimes very close. I look around, thinking I am gonna see ,-who's she?
There's nobody there. WHO ARE YOU?
Why I'm hearing your voice??? I want meet up with you!!!
