And I think this fear you described is pretty much the basis of the patriarchy that some men still cling to - that a woman who can think for herself is better, so they'd rather not have smart women - so just acknowledge that that's the fear, ignore it because it's ludicrous and outdated, keep bettering yourself, and you'll be smarter for it, too.
