Got married then bought a house and then had two kids with my wife. Turns out she's having an affair. Now we're divorced and she gets to keep the house and the kids 5 days a week. Now I am living in a crappy one bedroom apartment in Coquitlam working 80 hours a week and all my money is going to alimony and child support. I am o.k. with the child support as long as it goes to my kids. Unfortunately its going to botox, makeup, yoga, and nail appointments. The courts are completely against men and I am never getting married again.

it's not always women who are victims in marriages. i have a friend who does pretty much all the childcare and finances everything by himself while his ex with a personality disorder is spending the child support payments partying at wreck beach all summer.

Sorry to hear about your situation. On the flip side I'm a single mom that doesn't get anything financial. I do have my kids, but I have no restrictions on when they see him. It is true however that sadly some women are like that. But remember, some of us kind.....even when getting zero child support!!

Life is not fair. Society is biased against men. The legal system makes no sense and does not achieve what it intends. Common sense is missing. Keep an eye on her activities and take her back to court. I am a woman who wants to tell you that there are good ones out there. I would love to have children with a good man and pay my share :).

The courts are completely sexist against men, and I tell all my guy friends to NEVER get married. There is absolutely nothing to gain form it and almost everything to lose. If a man really wants a child I say get a surraget and high a maid/cook/nanny if need be.

Personally I say skip kids all together. Definitely skip marriage!!
