The only thing I wanted my ex to know was that she was the only one ever.
She was too insecure to accept that. At all costs she would not except it.
Such is life.

Unfortunately some people are too insecure within themselves and feel unworthy of love so won't allow it in. Some are also too scared to open themselves up because it's risky. There is no getting through to that. They have to be willing to receive your love. It's a shame this person couldn't see how much love you had for them, I can relate to that feeling and it's awful.
