Relationships don't always work out and plenty of people grow up with single parents for different reasons, including myself. I get that. But purposely getting pregnant by a man you knew beforehand would reject your child is just awful. And the father is just as awful. Did you stop to consider how this situation could affect your child in the future? Sure doesn't sound like it.

All I wanted growing up was to have both of my parents in my life at some capacity. Even if they weren't together. My father didn't want me either, and although I'm a healthy, functioning adult now, having an absentee dad has definately had a negative impact on my life in many ways.

I feel sorry, and really sad, for your daughter.

I hope you interviewed him about any possible health issues, defects, neurological disorders etc. that may run in his family. Always a good thing to do when looking for a potential sperm donor.

I think it's awesome that your plans turned out the way you wanted and your daughter will have positive male figures (teachers for example) in her life regardless.
