I work with rich hipsters in the tech scene-- and they're repugnant. One guy posted about a trip to France and how we drove around a fancy car all day with his girlfriend. They tend to rent out these 1000+ apartments downtown and in Yaletown. In contrast, I can't help but think of the regular Vancouverites who are getting scraps and can hardly progress their career, even if they have a computer science degree. These tech hipsters are getting everything handed to them. I hope their bubble pops or our government/people wake-up.
