yeah, what to do? when you've invested so much into something not there. it's not the easiest to admit to yourself you wasted your time. what i do is i come to the same realization you did, and then i quickly block that notion from my memory and search for hints of their secret love for me. a few ambiguous confessions and i'm right back to knowing they love me again! until the next lapse into honesty at least.
