I can semi-relate, not because of my beauty but because I am smart and have talents. Gifts, if you will. This has led to a degree of consternation over the years when I thought, gosh, instead of doing this well in the straight world, I ought to be following my muse as an artist, what with my scintillating talent!!!

I don't know about this at all. There are no ugly people out there. A person can act ugly with their actions. The personality. But the outside appearance?! It is all subjective. I used to think I was ugly and would die alone then I met someone special who loves me a lot.
