Both are problems.
BC is at least as much of a "distinct society" as Quebec is---probably moreso, given that Quebec is sort of like Europe, where BC, there's nothing else like BC in the whole world.

Provincial migration brings those "Canadians" here who think that provincial borders basically mean nothing, and international immigration brings roughly the same type.

BC is in your blood or it isn't!

I'm from northern BC originally, and I really resent people in vancouver. While the rest of the province works to support the economy, they just sit around and do nothing. I think BC should separate from Vancouver, much like dogs should be given heart worm medication to expel parasites from their system.
