Tired

I want to give up. I'm tired of this. I feel so done with life and am exhausted. I want to lay down and die but there's this reason that keeps me here, for what I really don't know.

Except in my case I am being given my wish, having recently learned of a positive malignancy. It's a whole other scenario now that it's real. I still feel exhausted and tired of fighting, but now I'm also sad that I might not have the chance to turn it around. You know that expression "be careful what you wish for"?......

Once or twice I've wished illness on myself so as to not deal with the idea of doing myself in. Nothing you ever wish for happens, so as per your diagnosis, forget about it
