Her hair is going grey at a pretty young age, but she doesn't dye it and doesn't seem bothered by it. Being comfortable in her own skin shines through the greys.

I really admire women like that. I remember a girl in my (adult) swimming lesson who didn't shave her legs or armpits, yet had the courage to hit the pool in a bikini, clearly not giving a shit about what other people would think of that. But women like her are a minority among the many superficial dyed hair, makeup-covered, fake lips and botox types that roam the streets of Vancouver.

Love your post. I'm 24 and have tons of grey hair. My brother tried to make me feel gross about it but it really doesn't bother me lol nice to know someone thinks it's sexy

Maybe you haven't noticed, but dyed grey hair is all the rage now with young people. I shit you not. Oh, they call I lavender" and such, but it's pretty much grey.

girl friend of mine went grey in high school. looked freakin awesome.

then had a girl friend at UBC who was greying in her 20s. those streaks in her black hair looked so great. now she's 40 and totally grey, still long long hair, still looks great.
