They are getting to the point!

Sure there are people who seem to be needy more than most. However, there is no human who doesn't need at some time. Needing doesn't make someone an emotional vampire unless they never give back. There are times in everyone's life that they may be more likely to need support, and hopefully by getting the support they need they will be in a better position to offer that same support to someone else in the future.

I've dated a vampire who sucked the life out of lovers until there was nothing left; then they left for fresh blood. It's better to avoid these if you can.

I've dated a zombie who tore into people and ate their brain with mindless complaints and criticisms until they became rotting corpses. It's one way to make peers, I guess.

I once even dated a werewolf who would transform into a howling monster when their biology and their religion conflicted. It's best to make sure people's internal conflicts are manageable.

These days I mostly date aliens. It's neat to explore each other's world and make new discoveries... especially food.
