Notes to upstairs neighbours

Although I'm sure witnessing your tapdancing and stomp dance routines while listening to your arguments is probably something quite special to behold in person; your downstairs neighbours are probably not so impressed...C'mon people lets have some respect for those dwelling below.

I have a nasty downstairs neighbour, who has tried to complain like you're doing, but it doesn't fly with me. When I'm hardly home, and am alone when I am home, so am not talking aloud, I object to the fact she complains when I can be heard on occasion when on the phone, or moving about my household. I hear her just the same, and even more I am bothered by the stenches that emanate from her household. If she was a pleasant neighbour, I would be more conducive to noise abatement, but she's not. She's a nasty, unfriendly, suspicious ass, and has proven herself to not warrant any such respect. So I will continue to wear boots in my kitchen, or laugh loudly when talking on the phone, or thump my plantpots around when gardening. That's all part of living in one's home, and I've been in my home for over two decades. Tough shit if you move in underneath, but don't generate an amenable relationship with your upstairs neighbour. Suck it up!

That's where we keep the ogres and trolls.
Have fun down there, while us elves party it up upstairs.

We tried the same thing with our upstairs neighbors went up twice to ask nicely to quiet down and put some mats down but they just blame their 3 year old. So my Asian friends taught me how to swear in Cantonese and I scream words when they make noise.
It's gonna be funny when the kid starts swearing at his classmates and Grandparents.
Maybe they learn respect that way.LOL
Easy fix...

Wait till nightfall. Grab a broom and knock on the ceiling until you hear the fuckers upstairs wake up. Then wait for them to go back to sleep and repeat throughout the night. Do this every night until they realize the impact of their actions (or move out).
Really Sad

Screaming and yelling are natural parts of life---the only people who don't do these things are slaves who've been acculturated to be submissive.
We were warned

when we moved into a 3 story ground floor apartment that the walls were thin. Damned rights they were. Guy upstairs sneezed and without thinking I said 'Bless you' out loud. Turns out they heard me and we laughed about it later. They had a small dog that barked sometimes but we all took it in good humour. I just invested in good headphones and cranked the music without bothering anyone. I dunno'. I guess it's how you look at it. What's good for the goose is definitely good for the gander and our end of the building seemed to manage noise just fine without wanting to poke each other in the eye.
