What's with the weed obsession?

Wouldn't you rather be doing anything else? Do I go and celebrate getting drunk all the time? Not at all.

Because you are you. And I am myself. Now are the times where social acceptance is demanded by ALL party's. But don't quote me on it.

Perhaps because they smoke week all the time, they're unable to do anything but eat doritos.

It's a social thing. People band together to protest the legalization of marijuana use. Welcome to Vancouver, pot capital of Canada.

as someone who doesnt drink, I see alcohol being "celebrated" everywhere . I always see drunks posting pictures of the craft beer they are about to drink, or dumb broads posting about their champagne and wine. Please. Our society is a constant celebration of alcohol. Frankly it makes people really unattractive and stupid.

I find it a bit over the top, like if you want to smoke a bit when you are home at the end of the day great, but no need to create a whole lifestyle around it..

Maybe because I'm older now, at 35. When I was in high school and post secondary years, I was a chronic pothead. It was totally dumb, smoking that much weed at lunchtime in high school, getting totally stoned then driving a car around, a lot... I sometimes wonder just what I did to my brain smoking that much for so many years. I am dead serious.

Thought it was great at the time, but my advice for anyone that age is while nothing wrong with smoking up after a long day, don't make a fetish out of getting stoned and becoming a stoner. It really will stunt what you can achieve during those years, and just imagine all the time you spend smoking weed and playing video games, you could spend on something more productive like thinking how you will have a million dollar business by the time you're thirty, etc.

It's just like booze.. nothing wrong with a bit of it at the right place and time.. but it can be overdone. And celebrating being a stoner is dumb..

Anyone

who plans their day around alcohol, cigarettes or pot is a loser. If I sat around talking about wine all the time and drinking it, I'd be a really boring person. "Celebrating" pot? Gimme a break. It's practically legal now. Smoke, enjoy - like I do occasionally - but leave me out of your weed lifestyle.

Never compare weed with alcohol. For a whole lot of reasons. Peace out!
