Yes this is true. Your friends aren't really your friends. They are not down for whatever and will never put themselves in a vulnerable position for you. Ever. Plus they'll just take your stuff and never return it and talk shit about you when you aren't around. One thing you learn is that all you really were to them was a supplement to their life at that moment but nothing more, especially when you are no longer needed or have nothing more to offer to whatever their current life experience is. You can count real friends on half of a hand and that's about it sadly.

When your friends are constantly asking favours of you that you fulfill but they never do anything for you in return, or when they do they let you down in some way? That is not a friend either. That is a user and I've had a lot of those in my life. Bugger off!!
