Its almost time for broken and out of tune pianos to be placed back on the street.
Its also really cool that they chain these disrespected instruments in what can only be described as a sadistic taunt for pianists.

These are 100 year old pianos that have reached the end of their useable lifespan, absent expensive overhauls that they are not likely to get because Canadian households no longer support acoustic upright pianos. Most people don't have the room or the skill.
I like the idea of these things around. I find them wistful and occasionally pleasant.
