or maybe she spends HER money differently than you do yours? some people live modestly and then they have money to travel.

I bet her family works in travel, so those vacations cost way less than you think. The number of grown-ups who are secretly bankrolled by their Boomer parents' pensions and diligent savings is also higher than you think, too.
