People complaining on social media about the 420 organizers "refusing" to get a permit and costing the city $250,000 in cleanup costs... (bullshit). The facts are that the organizers tried to get the permit and the city refused to grant it. Along with the thieves at the vpd charging the city $200,000 in "unexpected" overtime.. police presence was massive as they stood around embarrassed that they had absolutely nothing to do, and the ridiculous quote on the cleanup costs what else can the right wing nut cases blame on the 420 day celebrations? Piss off. Pot is here to stay, got over it anal douche bags.

Apparently that's what I am to you, being one of the majority of Vancouver residents who think that stupid "protest" is nothing more than a bunch of vendors making a buck without having to go through the usual channels, and a bunch of immature people who simply want to get blasted and skip school or work instead. Back when it first started there was an actual reason for protesting. There no longer is. I've been smoking pot recreationally for about 45 years, and I see no reason why I or anyone else needs to create a public nuisance, a huge mess, not to mention smoking out the poor people who happen to live in the area, all in the name of "420". Give me a break. Y'all need to grow the hell up.
