Cheers buddy and good luck

I knew a guy in high school and we hung out here and there for a while after grad, but in the last couple years we saw less and less of each other. I found out that he's getting married this fall. I congratulated him yesterday and he thanked me. Marriage seems to be an exciting new adventure for him. I didn't get an invitation, but honestly I'm not upset about it since we weren't really that close. The best thing one can do in this situation is to simply wish that person all the best then go your separate ways. That gave me closure so I have no regrets.

It's weird that as a single dude, you would even consider going to a wedding. I hate them. My friends and I have always been dragged to them by women. Weddings are FOR women. They get to be queen for a day. Maybe your friend thought you wouldn't want to go and was doing you a favour.

re you confessing your weirdness that you would kinda like to go to the wedding? I have never heard of a guy who WANTED to go to a wedding. Guys get dragged to weddings by girls. Weddings are FOR girls ffs.

He might be having a small family wedding....with housing so expensive these big weddings don't make any sense.

FYI Whaa I never said in my post that I wanted to go to his wedding or even consider going. My point is that it didn't bug or surprise me at all to not get an invite.
