I'm not sure why you felt the need to slam people who take psychiatric medication. You think people on medication aren't getting the message loud and clear already?

I was on some for awhile and I just had bad reactions to them. But at no time was I ever unaware of what I was doing. I talked to my doc, weened myself off and fortunately in feel better. I don't take my eyes off any approaching driver though because cell phones and unaware drivers get people killed and I think its just going to get worse.

Do you really think people taking medication for mental illness are vacant and lack self-awareness? Or do you just think everyone around you owes you attention, and the moment they sense your presence they should look up from their phone at your mighty self? Are you saying you've never looked at your phone in public or brushed someone off who wanted to talk to you when you weren't interested or in the mood?

You have no idea what's going on in the lives of other people. Depression and other mental illnesses are serious issues, and we should be encouraging people to get help when they need it. There's enough stigma against mental illness as it is. We don't need to insult people taking SSRIs when it could mean the difference between life and death for them.

Well, I've dated half a dozen people on those who wanted me to drink all night with them. Their eyes would roll into the back of their heads and they would say the same things over and over again about themselves. Not very appealing.
