That's what Speedos are. We're not just weirded out by them, we're repulsed by them. If you are a man in Speedos, you look like you were rifling through your wife's panty drawer and decided to wear a pair of them to the beach. Its absolutely cringe worthy.
And the fact that men with "all body types" wear them to the beach in Europe makes no difference. The prevalence of old, fat, hairy men in skimpy nut-huggers mincing around the beaches of Europe with their bellies hanging out is so ubiquitous, it is one of the reasons I changed my mind about going on a Euro-trip. I don't want to see any of that disgusting shit here in good old Canada.

Speedos flaunt the male body. It's a cultural hangup to find that funny or irritating
